Caddo pic in flood 6/11/10

Here is a pic of the Caddo River Bridge in Glenwood ! I have only seen it this high one other time...

Where is that middle picture of the bridge at? I know the first one is at Glenwood.

That's highway 240 just off 27 near one of the put-ins we use sometimes.
Rule #1: Never throw $#!^ at an armed man.

Yes, that is the Hwy 240 bridge. It's hard to believe that in 1989 the Caddo crested even higher, about 4-5 feet over that bridge... The 1989 flood was JUST gradual enough that, despite the physical damage, no one lost their lives.
It's been such a bad day, and one of reflection of the tragic events, both here, and one mountain range over on the Little Missouri watershed. My heart aches for the families of the loved ones lost on my river and the Little Missouri. I'm so very sorry.
