I am going to be at Buffalo City down on the White River where the buffalo ends. I am going for my family annual memorial fishing trip but with the rain that could possibly come I have thought about taking my boats if there were any fun runs in the area. I will be on the north side to the White and would rather not have to travel to terribly far so I can still spend some "Quality time" with the family.
So if there is any one out there that know some good runs in the area that Creek or play i please show me the way. And anyone is welcom to join me.
I plan on paddling possibly Saturday afternoon or Sunday... weather permitting
Any advice would be appreciatted
Josh
Memorial Weekend
Re: Memorial Weekend
Today I left Buffalo City after a wonderful few days. The bluffs are phenom. We floated on the White River 2 days and loved it! This is a lazy float>no paddle!
White Buffalo Resort handled our shuttle. At their suggestion we floated from Cotter to the resort. We don't fish but saw large trout at Rim Shoals.
The second day we floated from White Buffalo to Norfork. Saw 2 eagles that day. We did paddle up the Buffalo a short piece but then let the current take us on down the White.
Water was great and the temp was ooohhh-la-la. No sweat!
