For the Bayou?
A bit early, would you not say?
Great level, 90 degrees, & Richland!

The word I hear is, a few open boaters may wish to tangle with old Lower Richland. I've been told, I need to be there to witness it. Shud be a great first timers level, and in the 90's!

Latest rumor is that there may be a rubber party on lower richland tommorrow

I have to get back into town tomorrow evening, so I'm joining another rubber party on the Piney. Meeting in Dover at 9:30; most likely will hire shuttle from Moore's and split expenses.
Dale thinks Lower Richland will be real "iffy" for rafts tomorrow, but some may be determined to do it anyway. Renee and others are "camped" at Richland, thinking they may run lower tomorrow or they may head to Piney. Renee was real intent on a Lower Run.
This is the way weekends should be - choice of Richland, Cossatot, Piney, or others, it is just Friday night and I've already gotten in two Richland runs!

It's a little late now on Friday night, but is anyone paddling the lower Richland in a Kayak? Where and when can I meet up with ya'll?

Great day on lower Richland, no shirt required, a good group, scenery, and plenty of rapids. Afterwards, for us, it was Berkley's (?) in Atkins, or the old Pizza Meister.
PICTURES tomorrow, or whenever I can get to them.

"Iffy" for rafts? ARG kicked that creek's a$$ today and, more amazingly, did not screw up the shuttle (we had the good sense to put Renee in charge - smart, pretty, a steely eyed whitewater woman, and she flawlessly organized a complicated shuttle to boot (that Scott's a lucky man)).
Okay - the truth is we did KINDA bump down today, but even at 3' we didn't have to get out of the rafts a single time. But we were lucky. So Dr. Arliss Dale, while technically correct ... aw hell, even if he wasn't what mere mortal would contest his advice about Richland Creek any way?
Thanks Marianne for keeping me company today and insuring the Super Puma's weight and balance was within the lower Richland envelope. I rewarded her with a hero line run through Watch Eater. I'm battin' a thousand on raft runs through Watch Eater - my percentage is not quite perfect in an open boat (and Ranger Rich has the photographic evidence to prove it).
Now on to the Piney tomorrow to put even more rubber on the river - it's looking like an ARG floatarama!
