LITTLE BUFFALO INFO NEEDED

I'd really like to paddle/explore the Little Buffalo below Jasper on Thursday and info on the float would be very much appreciated. There was a thread available last spring, but I can't get it to come up:

http://www.arkansascanoeclub.com/mb/vie ... =1&t=10673" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Any thoughts on water levels, mileages, hazards, pluses/minuses, etc. will be helpful. Possible runs are from Jasper to a low water bridge, the low water bridge to Hasty, or Jasper to Hasty. I don't mind some dragging, just like to explore and to bag a new stream to help reach my goal of 12 new streams this year. Topping this off with a Friday upper Buffalo float if others are interested.

Thanks in advance for responses or pm's, and I'll write a report for future reference.

You just need to replace http://www.arkansascanoeclub.com/mb" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; with the new address http://forums.arkansascanoeclub.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and your old link will work.

Cheers

Thanks for the responses Painterbob and Heather. This'll really help deciding where to go.

Bob, I'll definitely be contacting Jesse for specifics and hope to have Jesse shuttle my Subaru if needed (also plan to rent from him in June for a church group I'm bringing). Wish I cold float it at today's river level.

Heather, thanks for the new link!! Hopefully my boating skills are better than my technology ones! The old posts call the Little Buffalo narrow and twisty: just what I like best. Paddling Cadron is still at the top of my to-do list and one day this summer I'm gonna make it. If I didn't have to come back Friday night it'd probably be runnable this weekend.

Any other info is still welcomed!!
