Lower Richland Monday.

Any takers on lower richland. I have done it once and had fun. Just not ready for upper yet I don't think.

Upper is a good level for a first try if you're even slightly interested. If you're on the fence, portages at Knucklebuster and Lower Screw Up drop the difficulty of the entire run by 1 notch. If you're making most of your "combat" rolls, you should go for it. There should be several there to talk about the lines today, and you don't get many 70 degree days for Richland at a decent level.

But if you get any takers for a lower run, would you be interested in a Leap-Frog shuttle?

Group 1 puts in on Upper.
Group 2 drives as many cars as possible to Campground bridge, and launches on Lower.

Group 1 finishes Upper run, then drives all the cars/trucks down to Lower take out to pick up Group 2.

This works great if both groups are similar sized and have vehicles capable of carrying many boats.

I also like the fact that while it works great most of the time, it also has the potential for screwups of epic proportions. So if you pull it off, you get a second rush just like when you successfully complete a difficult rapid...
