Anyone run the Hogeye Run recently?
I ran it about a year ago at a lower optimal level. I drove by the put in today to take a look and saw barb wire coming off the bridge and part of a fence going across the river.

That's unfortunately par for the course on the Hogeye run. It runs out through a choice slice of rural Americana. Definitely be heads up for barb wire and such on the run if you do it. It's a class 2-3 run at high water, but you better have solid class 3 skills to miss all the trees and any stray fences!

Did it Friday,5/14.
Great level.
We put on about three and a half miles above the bridge at "The Mall"
and ran down to the big bridge.
I ran the culvert that had the wire dangling.
It seemed to be an isolated strand.
The fence post was new, however when I ran it last year I remember a
fence post in just about the same spot that was bent double.
Somebody is trying to deify hydrology and fence the creek.
