Remmel Damn

Post by sugarmtngal » Tue May 11, 2010 9:27 am

Could someone please post where the time releases
are available to view? I recall Renee H posting a site
regarding hour releases in the past on this board!
Thanks.

Hey, Gretchen. I was looking for you to be selling raffle tickets at WW School this year. Had to buy from someone else and it didn't work out nearly as well for me.

Here's a link to a series of choices the Entergy hydro folks make available for those who want to stay on top of the releases from Remmel Dam...

David,
Just got info from a Little Rock paddler also! Thanks
for your reply! Yea, I had to journey to NM
to get my Dad out of prison (nursing home)
and get him setup in his cabin;, he has his freedom
again- Then of course I had to visit my favorite
hangout: Durango, CO and will be heading back
to the Animas River soon. There is some cheap
property N of Durango Ive taken interest in-
I did miss Canoe school and wanted Kyle (my teenage
son) to go, maybe next year! I do like selling things
for our club
Catch ya maybe on the Cadron ? How's
photography treating you? Keep paddling -

All is well, thanks. The photo business is going remarkably well. I did pick up one additional bit of info on Rockport that you may or may not have gotten elsewhere. My friend Ted Smethers, who more or less controls these things for Entergy Arkansas, which owns Remmel Dam, tells me that you want to be at Rockport when Remmel is in full generation mode (actually, a few hours after it starts), and full generation is 3,600 CFS.
