Third Point Helmets - Dan Daniels

Does anyone know where I can find Dan Daniels? Have not seen him in years. He once was the owner of Third Point Helmets in Fayettville and is or at least was a darn good boater. I have one of his helmets and I love it to this day. However, the plastic "female" cam buckle broke rendering the helmet pretty much useless until I can find a replacement that fits the male. If anyone has an old perhasp cracked Third Point helmet gathering dust that they don't want I'd be interested in salvaging the cam buckle assuming Dan used a consistent buckle..

Heading to Ozark Outdoors to see if they just happen to have one that fits. Going to try bike shops too. Have already checked the cam buckles on my kids bike helmets with no luck. :)

Fish has an old DD helmet that needs retired. He's lazy and cheap though, so good luck getting parts from him. Dan can be found kicking hippies a**es at Smoke and Barrel most nights.

what and where is smoke and barrel? And by the way if anyone is wondering why I just don't replace both the male AND female cam buckle with a new pair from a salvaged bike helmet it's cuz the male end is threaded through a strap that is riveted onto the helmet. Got to find one that fits.

Smoke and Barrel is a bar on Dickson St where Dan is a reliable head-crushing hippie-bashing bouncer.

Dan's out of the biz, but I replaced my buckle a while back with a standard one I got from Pack Rat. Had to unrivet the strap and then pop a new rivet in, so a good rivet gun will be needed for the operation.

I think they're wanting a rivet gun, not your helmet.

Well, OK, but wearing a rivet gun on your head isn't going to protect you from a serious impact...

Besides, I don't own one - I used one at the store where I bought the buckle.
