Viewing Message Board in Safari
I can't log into the message board when I use Safari on my Macs. It lets me log in, but when it returns me to the board index, it logs me out.
Firefox works, and Internet Explorer on PC works for me also.
Just FYI.
Thanks.

Hmm...
I am using Safari on my Mac, and I stay logged in even after quitting the program. Do you have Private Browsing enabled?

Re: Viewing Message Board in Safari
I use Safari on my Iphone with no problems. If you used that browser to visit the mb site at one of the old urls, then you likely still have cookies that are referencing the old address which is causing the logout. Clear your cookies, and you shouldn't have any problems. Since Safari works for some people and others had this same issue on multiple browsers before clearing their cookies, I suspect it's the same issue for you.

Hey T,
Welcome to the Mozilla Club!
I use Thunderbird, Firefox, open office and run Ubuntu linux with a windows 7 dual boot. I find Ubuntu runs faster for me than windows 7 but I keep windows going just to stay up to date with it.
This from a die hard corporate I/T manager who paid a ton of our company money to Microsoft before I retired. If I was working in I/T today I would save a boat load of company money and go over to Ubuntu and Mozilla in a flash.

Here's the problem. I deleted my cookies, and log in. But I can't log in (on Safari) without deleting them every time. Its starting to get on my nerves.

Re: Viewing Message Board in Safari
I'm running Safari Version 4.0.5 (5531.22.7) on Mac. When the new board went up a few weeks ago I had to do the following and now am able to operate properly.
Give this a try if you haven't already
1. Safari >Preferences
2. Security > Show Cookies
3. Search for the keyword "phpbb3" in the upper right of show cookies dialog
4. Remove (delete) all the entries associated with .forums.arkansascanoeclub.com
5. Done
6. History > Clear History
After this you ought to be able to go to the website then hit the forum and login and stay logged in while browsing.
Hope this helps a little.

Re: Viewing Message Board in Safari
You are certain you are going strait to the board and not thru the main page or some linked source? Not even sure if that would make an issue... just guessing.
Works fine on my mac at work with safari.
