Aire valves. What kind of glue? Hey raftheads!

I have an older raft that is losing air. One of the bladder types. They told me most leaks are around the valves. Does not seem to be coming out the external part. I pulled the bladder out and could not find the leak but was difficult to get to the valve where bladder and outside come together. There was glue that was not doing much between the 2. Should I glue this? With what? All I have is aquaseal and that seems kinda more permanent than what was on there.

I wasn't aware you could repair the bladders, but I'm pretty sure that glue is odd. All the raft repair we did on Aire's we had to do plastic welding

My bladder...air cell as they call it... has a few patches in it. Could not find a leak around them. I guessed it was just around the valve where what looked like glue was evident. A call to Aire was very helpful. She told me that was just a sealant. That I need to take my valve apart and check the "air cell" again for my pinhole. Just a pain to find.

Aire gives great service. Twice I've found it necessary to drop in for repair of raft leakage problems while in Idaho on river trips. Both times they dropped everything and took care of the problem within an hour. Handled it under warranty. They seem to be willing to fix about anything related to bladder leakage situations under warranty, as this is a feature of Aire rafts that is sometimes criticized.
