Best Route from Little Rock to Jasper

Please advise as to which option is better, if possible.

1. From Conway HWY 65 N to HWY 123 W thru Hasty to Jasper

OR

2. West on I-40 to Russellville and North on HWY 7 to Jasper

It's pretty much a tossup, but I'd take Hwy 7. It's very scenic, little traffic, and you can actually make good time if you get in the swing of the curves. What say, Dale?
