Indian Creek Access on the Mulberry River

Indian Creek access on the Mulberry is now open for use. The site is located midway between High Bank and Byrd's. There is a small turn around with a footpath leading down to the river. There is also a small parking area off to the side. Plans for a nice set of steps down to the river were cancelled because the soil was just too sandy for a footing. Hopefully there will eventually be a spur trail that connects the parking area to the Ozark Highlands Trail which is just north of the site. Indian Creek should take some of the use off of High Bank which can be very crowded at times.
