We are paddling Palarm Creek beginning at Bell Slough and ending at the boat-ramp just short of the AR River on the Pulaski / Faulkner county line on Hwy 365. This includes some part of the creek that have not been explored in some time. We are meeting at Noon at Bell Slough. I'll post directions and/or a meeting place for those that don't know how to get to Bell Slough. But in short, it is just south of the Mayflower exit on I-40.
So far it look like Debo and Mike Beebe are also coming.

You can meet us at Bell Slough at noon or I am meeting Mike Beebe at 11:20am at the Wafflehouse at the I40 Morgan-Maumelle exit (hwy 365) and you can follow me to Bell Slough.

If you're not into GPS, just cut-and-paste those numbers into the "Search Maps" blank on maps.google.com
It will work just like a street address and show you where this is on a regular map or satellite view, whichever you prefer

Trip report -
It's always good to get on the water, but I do have to admit this one had a bit more of an "urban" feel to it than I would normally prefer. In most areas, the farm fields just got a bit too close to the creek.
We did have see a little bit of wildlife - there was a mink some saw, and we chased a racoon down the bank for awhile.
Mostly, it was just a great day to be on the water, and nice to see something new.
