What, exactly, does "interesting level" mean?!? I haven't done Caudron before, so I'm not sure what to expect. Where is the bridge? I'd be coming from Beebe.

Damn was it a great afternoon on the Cadron yesterday!!!!

almost 7ft and the waves were GREAT!!!! Easy to get into to play, some being a little flushy, but most were perfect!!!

The tree is definitely still there and an issue, but yesterday you could go over it.

Droping fast, but might stick around through the weekend.

Only took us about an hour and 45 minutes with quite a bit of playing.

Cheers!

I was thinking about floating the Cadron early Saturday afternoon. Anyone else interested?

Also, about the tree issue. Can you portage around the tree at lower levels, or is the tree a show stopper? Also, where is the down tree located?

Having trouble getting on to post reply...
Thanks everyone for coming. Lots of fun. Tree at Barking Dog rapid at the end of Pinnacle Springs run is unmoved and definately a danger at lower levels. We boofed it at that level but if going this weekend, I would watch for it.

Sorry I didn't fully answer question.. Yes you can get out on river left above the tree, and portage around it. There are dogs that routinely come down to the river and bark, hence the name. Don't think they would be a problem, but not sure. Willow jungle on river right that you can try to negotiate, but wouldn't recommend it.
