Update from Christmas Day Crash: Ready to Paddle!

Post by garyreinhart » Fri Mar 05, 2010 7:40 am

Hey folks, I have another set of wheels and even though I haven't been in the boat yet, I think my ribs have healed well enough to paddle....gotta try to find out. I will now be driving a goldish tan Dakota 4 door 4x4. I used to have a white one.......so if you see my truck at the river, you know I can allways squeeze in another boat and paddler.....but you may or may not get a cold beer.........you will if there are any left, or if Bozman is with me. He comes prepared!!! :}
At this time I am working every weekend, with thursdays and fridays off. If you want to paddle on these days, call me!

I looked at Wister yesterday.....looked gnarly. Still haven't seen anyone paddling it. Shout at me if you are going, if I don't paddle it, I will shoot some photos.....been wanting to shoot some paddlers there for a year!

Hey Gary, glad to hear that you're back in business. Thought about you last week when 6 of us ran the Tot. Spring seems to be finally arriving.. maybe we will get a run together soon.

Thanks Chris!
Yeah we've been trying to hook up on the Tot for awhile, eh? We'll get er soon. Don't forget I really want to run the Little Mo from Albert Pike when it's on the high side! You up for it?
You still workin weekends too?

Yo Spanke....there was no one fishing until the y downstream when I was there....they were fishing the back water. I know what you mean though, had that same problem for years surfing too close to the fishing piers....they beaned my friend with a huge sinker one day.....plus I think I read on this message board that some one had a run in with some drunk cowboy types one time while camping there....anyway, the wave looks smokin and the fish wern't bitin!
