Need some Dierks info

I'm wanting to demo a boat this weekend and Dierks looks like the best bet.

Having never been there, is there a way to tell if it will run this weekend?
Whats the run like below the campground? Any recent strainer reports?

I assume if it is running there will be other paddlers?

Thanks in advance,
Steve

Lake is up 10 feet and has been dropping about half a foot per 24hr, so that would mean it should run for 2 weeks... But...

This afternoon they turned it up by 200+cfs so it is going to drop faster... But...

Rain is in the forecast for this weekend, and if it rains in the lower watershed they will turn it down/shut it off... so...

What will it do??? anyones guess. I would think Saturday will be pretty probable at the big level. Sunday, a little less likely. It could run, it might not.

run details here. I have not been downriver in a while but at higher water it will be flowing through the tree, so stay in the main flow (river is really wide).

I have to work saturday till noon. Might come down for an afternoon session (3:30 or so), Sunday is iffy (if it rains other places) Defiantly go if you can, great place to demo a boat. If you are still there late in the afternoon look me up and I will give you a tour.

Scott

I got here after dark, so no real reports, other than lots of deer on arrival. And a nice campfire. I'll be here all weekend unless rain hits earlier than predicted.

ScottH, thanks for the info and the offer. I will probably not be there much later than 3.

I'm heading that way eta 12:00. Look forward to meeting you suckhole.
