ACC Website: Scheduled Downtime

Post by Lupe » Wed Feb 17, 2010 11:42 am

The ACC website will likely be inaccessible sometime overnight on Friday 2/19, anywhere from 10pm until 6am Central (although the actual downtime should not be for more than 3 hours). Our software service is moving to better servers, and things will be offline during the physical move.

This should NOT affect the message board since it's on a different server, but if you will need to use a bookmark that uses the weird ns13.webmasters.com address directly. If your bookmark comes through the main ACC site (http://www.arkansascanoeclub.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) then the transfer to the message board won't work while the main site is offline.

Thanks

Any insight as to why the log me in automatically for message board is not working for me?

Sorry - the message board is completely separate (different software and different server) and I have no admin access to anything with the message board.

I am hoping that we get a message board administrator soon who can finally address message board related bugs. You can try contacting Amos or Tom to express your concerns, although I don't think either of them have the access to fix this issue at this point either. :?

My understanding is that the auto login along with a more user friendly web address COULD be fixed if we can get admin access, so hopefully that will happen (eventually)...
