Been a race on the Cossatot before. Back in the 70's. Between Mize Crossing and 50000 Road. Short race, canoes, not too many rapid, and just a fun event. One team even dressed as Indians. Can't remember any race upstream from there.

I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to arrange a planned release for it. If someone was really feeling fired up, we could promote it and bring in people from all over for it.

A few of us regular tot boaters have had a few unofficial races down in the falls at various levels, any level of 3 feet or better. lots of fun, lets do it again this spring.

We could have one from Ed banks to sandbar bridge (Novice class)
and
One from ( Ed Banks or Sandbar Bridge) to Dead dog beach (Expert Class)

Would ed banks to dead dog beach be to long of a race?

Sandbar to dead dog would be "viewer friendly" and more action packed!

Just kicking it around .....

Best is do it the falls, less flatwater! Top of eye opener to the bottom of whiplash, and be prepared to get :hammer:

The one that I was a part of was from the entrance of the Falls to Dead Dog Beach. Managed to squeeze out a win even though my drainplug was tampered with at the starting line by someone hoping I would get :hammer:. Most memorable part was Mike O and I running through the Machine at the same time.

yep, i was in that mike o. lazer machine mix too. i won the year before the first of Team Add sponsored falls races in a playboat then lazer shows up to the tot with creeker just to kick some a$$!! :poke: and the :hammer: factor was high!!

very very fun times, we should do it soon!! I like the cossatoser to whiplash myself. It makes it a full on sprint through the best rapids on the river. finishing to dead dog across flatwater is a lame finish, and the only reason lance beat me the second year. :poke: :poke: :poke: :poke: :poke:
