9" @ Bee Branch, what'd you get?

Post by Clif » Sat Jan 30, 2010 6:31 am

3 more inches last night, up there on the big list we have seen in 15 years here. Measured 9" in several spots... higher drifts in places. Having to dig for firewood. What did you get around the state?
You sure this is on the right channel?

Here in north garland county we got 1/2 inch of ice, the trees are heavy with the ice, a little sleet and last night got 2 inches of snow. It looks like a frozen fun park!

Got about 4" snow over 1/4" ice in Russellville just north of I-40. Pretty scenery, and we haven't lost power once!

David Timby reports about 12" at Gilbert

OK, Clif, you asked for it.

I will admit, many moons ago I have kayaked in worse weather and driven pretty bad roads.

Today tho in Jenks America, it has warmed up to 20 degrees, snow has stopped for a while and
I am staying inside looking a videos and thinking good thoughts to keep the electric power going and the furnace working.

No way do I want to get outside today.

Probably about 5'' in Hiram. Bottom layer was some frozen rain. Second day of cabin fever. Been working on my college class.
