Is that the Norrell spillway. I haven't been there but it looks like some of the photos and video posted here on the web.

Hmmm...the caption does say the first spillway below the entrance drop. That "tbird spillway" looks pretty sweet too!

It is a spillway in Cherokee Village, AR, near Hardy, AR and the Spring River. Would be pretty hard to catch if you didn't live in the area. I have walked it before. Boyd and I have worked at the same camp in that town (at different respective times). Never seen it run the two summers I have been there. Believe those pictures are at least 3 or so years old.

Between Cherokee Village and Horshoe Bend there are probably 15 spillways coming off lakes out there, half or more are probably runnable. One I was going to try and run this past summer in Hourshoe Bend has a 12 ft into a little canyon that after about 50 yards goes underground. Was gonna try and run the drop then climb out, but it never got high enough.
