Man, me too. Water hold out plz.

I gotta mtg at 10:00 with some city officials tomorrow to talk about ways to put in the rest of the Fayetteville trail system in a way that
1) allows people to see the creek to foster creek love among the larger unaware population
2) does not cause habitat loss
3) does not harm water quality
4) does not negatively impact the parks budget
5) does not waste tax payer money

vs
1) allows people to see the creek to foster creek love
2)Causes bad impacts on water qualtiy,
3) bad impacts on wildlife habitat,
4) bad impacts on park budget,
5) bad impacts on tax payer money

I would like to flake out, but can't..... so hopefully something close will be going, but if not I am prepared to travel a distance to the tot or somehwere's else paddle camp and paddle some more.

My lady friend might not be into that, but by god a paddler must do what a paddler must do to get some water time in every now and then.

I am hoping to get in a local run tomorrow too. The West Fork is running today, but might drop out tomorrow without some more rain.

The Y will make a great 2nd boat. I will have to be quicker on my response next time :D .

My son has a basketball game this afternoon, so unfortunately, a West Fork run today is out for me.

I have missed a few deals by thinking too long about them on the gear swap too.

Earlier I would have said yes, let's go now !!!

Now, I am just sol though. Do have fun if you go and enjoy the 5 play waves that were never there before, but are there now due to a natural channel stream restoration that was completed earlier this year.

Stabilize a streambank, make some new playspots....win win.

don't be alarmed when the locals pull over, walk to the ball park bridge and say.... you know there is a waterfall up a head don't you??

I'd probably be up for paddling tomorrow. Lee or Mulberry are both good with me; I don't really feel like going all the way down to the 'Tot. I don't have class tomorrow, so I could go anytime.

Anyone know if the Pig Trail is open North of Turners? I know it was closed completely for a short while. Just wondering if the one lane is open again.
