Smartphone access to the ACC page and/or message board
Smartphone access to the ACC page and/or message board
I have tried to access the new ACC page and message board and get a message that says " the requested page can not be displayed". I could access the "old" ACC page but not with the new page. I don't understand web servers/access well enough to know if this is a "mobile" page problem or what. Any help? Thanks to the Web page crew for all of their hard work and dedication!

I have the same problem - not sure what the fix is. Are you using a Blackberry?

My crackberry had trouble for quite awhile. Not at first but then something changed before the ACC updated their page. This is my first time on with a droid and everything is just as it should be- except my typing still sux.

Re: Smartphone access to the ACC page and/or message board
I just recently got a smartphone after my antiquated cell finally took one too many spills off my fireplace mantel (Note: I've decided NOT to keep my smartphone on the fireplace mantel!).
Anyway, I have no problems viewing either the ACC website pages or the ACC message board on my smartphone, so I would double check that you have the right addresses bookmarked and aren't using an old address. After the new ACC site was launched, the message board was moved to a different location, so an old bookmark might not work correctly. Actually this location was supposed to be only temporary, but it seems to never have gotten moved to it's new permanent address.
Although when the message board was moved IN THEORY nothing was supposed to change, I believe there have been some troubles since then (like you can't stay logged in anymore). We have an ACC Board meeting in a couple of weeks and I would like to discuss with the Board if there are any outstanding issues/problems related to the message board that should be addressed. If there are issues we need fixed I want to propose getting volunteers who could help or even allocating some funds to hire some IT to get things fixed (I'm willing to even make a donation towards that cause). So if you have any concerns, now's a good time to mention them (or re-hash them), as I'm hoping to see if we could get some movement on resolving any problems.

I've have been having problems with staying logged on, and frequently when I try to post, I am logged off before I can post or it eats my post.
Was beginning to think I was being banned or something.
Anyway, hope the bugs get fixed.

Actually I have a HTC Fuze with AT&T and cleared my old favorite ACC link and have tried googling and yahoo searches to link to the ACC page and direct typed in the address without success. I could access it with with my previous HTC phone with AT&T before it died. SOOOOO....I DUNNO!
