I've been getting started on my taxes & am afraid to get near deep water :(

Also, I still have ice on my pond. Do you know how cold the water in the rivers is? :poke:

Hobbs State Park is having a kayak outting tomorrow on Beaver lake, meeting up in the parking lot at 1PM Sunday 1-17-10. I told them I would be there. Got extra rack space if anyone wants to ride over with me, and two spare boats with all the gear if anyone wants to paddle a Shadow or a Carolina. Call me if you want me to bring it, other wiseall I will take is a spare paddle and a small first aid kit. Already tied down, but I got lots of rope. Leaving my house about noon.

I do not know where they are putting on to paddle.

I called them to confirm, but they had no other details. I imagine it will just be 2-3 hours paddleing around on the lake, but I do that solo so why not with a group.

They did not mention any refreshments, but I might bake some peanut butter cookies tonight to bring and maybe something besides water to drink.

Dress for the weather.

Eric

OK, traced back through my GPS track log to see what I was doing at the exact time you posted. :poke:

I was in the White River National Wildlife Refuge, Little Eagle Lake (just East of Preston Ferry, which is East of Stuttgart) playing hide-and-see with this fellow:

OK, so what's wrong with this?

Answer: I'm here posting about it on what's shaping up to another beautiful morning! My Bad! I think I'll go jump in the shower and head out for the afternoon, before the whole day is gone!
