I was watching an advert for the LL biscuit, and came upon this

Notice the feature 26 second in. It's some kind of moveable-play-wave-dock (-bear-pig). What's unique is that it should allow for people who don't want to go over whitewater (motor boats, etc) to float right by when optimally placed. This could be something to look into for those of us in ww-deprived La.
10 cool points for identifying what it is, 100 friendship points for telling me where I can buy one.
Need help identifying this- what is it and location
Re: Need help identifying this- what is it and location
It's no doubt homemade, but I worked out years ago how to build essentially this thing cheap. Maybe $20K or so. It'll burn some diesel fuel to run it, but not more than $15 to 20/hr worth or so. I'm not claiming it's totally eco-friendly, but it'll make a nice wave. :)

Re: Need help identifying this- what is it and location
Theres a Scandanavian company that builds those things. I have no idea how to refind the information though. I bet if you put something up on BoaterTalk you would get some responses on whether that was homemade or a company out there builds those things.

Edit: Just watched it again and at the end it says who the boat was tested by...def had some type of Scandanavian names.
