how does it start? .... is the repeated checking of river gauges, and paddling web sites! with no action?.. along with a piles of" dry "paddling gear all over the place. or,looking out the kitchen window at the canoe with ice crystals all over the bottom! how about the weatherman's prediction of falling precipitation ,that just blows by your state. i think i caught mine from cold feet on the kitchen floor along with a canceled canoe trip! :poke: but that's just me!!!! or it could just be that there isn't anything on E-BAY... i tried to go and work but my paint was frozen in the bucket so i have been home 3 DAYS going crazy and then it hit me!!!!! THIS MUST BE CABIN FEVER

HAH! I got doctors orders not to paddle till I heal, talk about frustrating...Cowper and Debo hit the swamps again this weekend, and I couldn't go
When do I get to paddle with the royal Bobness again?

YEP! I caught the fever too.
And Debo and Cowper aren't tellun what they found on Sunday.
My only consolation is that after 35 years I retire in just 23 more days.

I can retire in August of 2012. I'm not sure if the world is supposed to end before or after that date in '12, but I'd sure hate to think that I've wasted 25 years working. :(

Cabin Fever can be cured on Debo and Cowper's New Year's Day swamp trip ... with Debo's red hot apple cider and good food afterwards!
Amazing how beautiful a swamp is in the Winter! Really ....
See ya'll there!

Susan, The New Years Swamp trip is definitely an option I am considering. It will be a full moon. The other option of course is the Buffalo. At this time of year weather always has the last say.
