I just won an online charity auction for a Shred Ready helmet of my choice and now have to decide. I haven't tried any SR helmets and really am a little overwhelmed by the choices. Was thinking of a full face but wanted to know if the jaw bar was removable. Any favorite models or ones to avoid?

Re: Which Shred Ready?
If you have a big head, their standard full-face ABS helmet might not fit you. It fits my wide 7 3/8" head like a clamp or I'd own one. The Shensu (discontinued) I ended up with fit snuggly with some trimming. The Shaggy fits with room to spare and the Tdub would fit the Elephant Man. All seem to be very well made and I love my Shensu. Just be careful if you have a big head. They all fit differently.
Congrats on the auction!

I got a T-Dub and really like it. It has a large bill on the front and good coverage on the back of your neck. Another plus is if you don't like the bill, you can turn it around and wear it backwards just a comfortably, and have extra neck protection. Plus it looks cool, I got a wood grain one. Would highly recomend it. Just random thoughts.
