Last weekend I drove thru Devils Den camp area and hope to visit it again to start riding my mountain bike again and camp.
Question, is there a good place to rec. kayak within about 30 minutes? Lake or calm river.
Be nice to make a relaxing weekend of just light mtb riding and kayaking and camping.

Might suggest Lake Fort Smith at Mountainburg. Really a beautiful lake to float and not far from Devil's Den

where is the bottom section or how do I get there?
I saw a water park area in Devils Den that ran out to a creek and then went somewhere.

You should also check the crevices out down there as well.

The regular Lee Creek run - as you drive through Devils Den campground, just keep going on 220. It will be dirt for awhile and then back to pavement. Stay left at the Y. When you cross over the big 220 bridge, that is Lee Creek. The putin is on your left just past the bridge. The takeout is just past the putin on your first right, then 200 yards and your next right. The water is low right now, but if you don't mind dragging and getting out in spots it's a short run and the shuttle is short enough to walk. At the ledge, a big flat rock area on your right, get out and walk up the little creek to the little waterfall.
You can also get there from hwy 59 (I-40 Van Buren exit), go north on 59 then after you past Cedarville, turn East (right) onto 220. From there it is around 8-10 miles to the 220 bridge over Lee Creek.
