Please feel free to sign up for the WaldensRidgeWhiteWater.com forum and site, our goal is to provide an on-line regional community for whitewater paddlers. We always felt Boatertalk to be a little too harsh for the most paddlers. Our goal is for a more friendly board to help you give and get information. Without all the drama.
It has the following forums
Gage Readings: This forum is so you can get real-time gage readings so you can get on the water quicker.
Wood Report: So you have an up to the minute storage of information to know where those strainers are at.
General: This forum is intended to be a friendlier place to ask a question and not get flamed like on Boatertalk. Also it’s a place to have fun.
Stolen or lost gear: This forum is to help you retrieve that lost glove you left at the take-out : )
For Sale or Trade: This forum has more of a regional audience which will help you find or sell that gear you need or want, instead of a selected audience
ALF Fest: Ain’t Louie Fest is the Southeast’s cornucopia of Open Boating. Every spring Open Boaters gather to explore the Southeast streams.
Ask Dr. Boof : The dry-witted,sharp tongued doctor is always in the house.
Bugs and Bad Links: This forum is where you help us make our site better for everyone else.
The Site....
Also please check out the flowpage, a lot of work has gone into it so you can have a better shot driving from Memphis and not get skunked. It now has watertable gages, rain gages , flow gages and virtual gages. Thanks to Bill "Fish" Herring for his code!
We also have expanded the creek section to include the Obed-Emory system, which is a straight shot up on I-40.
The site now includes the Obed-Emory, Lookout Mountain runs, Sequatchie Valley runs, and Waldens Ridge. We plan on expanding by this spring to the Tellico area.
Also the creek section has organized hyperlinks to AW for the Tellico,Ocoee, Hiwassee, Western Cumberland Plateau and Smokies....no more wondering where those creeks are located .
The flowpage and forums were set in mind for actually for the Arkansas boater to help them to keep getting skunked. I learned to boat in Arkansas and I know the commitment it takes. The forum can help you get a shuttle and save yourself from driving a extra car. And the flowpage can help you on making a decision on where to go for a Plan B.
We would love for you to join!

This is the place to go for info on runs in East TN. All the beta for Walden's Ridge runs and gauge info to know if the timing right to try out one of them steepies or have a good time on some classic run.
BTW: Dr. Boof will cure what ails you, when the creeks aren't running.
