'Twas a picture perfect day on the Caddo today. Crystal clear water at and ideal level, constant sunshine, and an unimpeded view of a bald eagle in one of the trees left standing on the bank.
That brings up the subject of strainers.
I haven't seen that many strainers since the clinical trials for ExLax.
Seriously, between Norman and Caddo Gap I lost count of how many massive trees and log jams we had to backferry around and/or slalom through. Novice boaters definitely should not run that stretch until some of those are cleared.
