A friend (or two) and I are paddling from somewhere to somewhere on the Mulberry tomorrow, exact route TBD depending on the level, etc. in the AM. It's going to be a warm, sunny, November day!
Meeting time/place is 10AM at Turner Bend.
If any of y'all are interested in joining us, post up.

Hey Owl, I'm tryin to get a crew for the Piney. But the Mulberry would be alot closer. If I can't rouse anyone, we'll see ya at Turner Bend at or before 10am. Should be able to make a quick trip on the Mulberry at 5 feet.

The Mulberry was 5' yesterday so it should be four-ish today.
We'll probably put in at Wolf Pen 'cause I rarely get up there at this level.

We paddled from Wolf Pen to Whoop-n-Holler. Nothing new notable in the river.
Chainsaw Jungle still has some hazards that require good boat control to negotiate. Those lacking in skill should portage for safety.

May do the Mulberry Saturday Nov 7 from Woff Pen on - how do I tell when we're getting to Chain Saw Jungle?

Without more rain the Mulberry will probably be too low to put in at Wolf Pen this weekend but, to answer your question, about two miles downstream from Wolf Pen you'd encounter the conflulence with the Little Mulberry, then just after that Moonshine Ford (a low water bridge), then a half-mile later a rapid called P.H.D, and then, about a mile more, Chainsaw Jungle where the river turns sharply left then back right. There's a big root ball in the swift main current that you have to avoid and then a leaning tree farther downstream. There's a large eddy above CJ where you can get out and scout or one on river left nearer the root ball. If anyone in your group is not capable of accurate boat control, I'd advise portaging it for safety.
