weekend floating on the buffalo
anyone making any plans?... day trip.... over night?.. gravel bar?....
Re: weekend floating on the buffalo
Bob, Gary and I want to paddle Saturday, hopefully Ponca will be up. Minna plans to come also. Looking forward to some fall colors.
Will watch the levels and decide which part of Buffalo on Friday evening. We know we will paddle some part of it.

Re: weekend floating on the buffalo
No hard plans painterbob, but I wouldn't mind pulling out and hitting it for a couple of days this weekend.
Be glad to meet up for a shuttle/run. Looks like Ponca may be at a good level, but any destination is a good one! Doubt Hailstone will pop but I'll be watching. Can come rigged for a 'nighter, base camper, flatwater, whitewater, and anything in between!
Would love to come down and join in the fun if no one minds horribly!

Perfect day on the upper Buffalo. Water level was good, rapids good, weather perfect. Beautiful scenery, nice folage colors. Will post pics later. Also had great group of people to paddle with, Painter Bob, Roger and several others from the Ozark Society. Very nice to meet some of you and paddle with some of you again.
