Got this email from Steve Heye, outings coordinator for the Sierra Club:
Guys –
Want to join us for a flat water float through the Wattensaw swamp?
6 of us have already said yes, you can join us on an easy float.
We’ll meet at the T-rick’s gas station in Hazen around 945 and go from there to
the near by boat ramp.
Bring a lunch and a camera. Leaves should be starting to change.
Call me if you think you want to come 350-5275 (cell) or 455-2210 (home)

I'd love to hear a trip report if you get one. Water levels are high. (Generally not in a dangerous way, if you stay away from the White, but makes for interesting paddling...)
Trash: Get a little every time you go!

You might want to check out Cowper and Chubs posts on the other Wattensaw canoe trail float for Sunday, regarding hunters and water levels. Just FYI.
