I have a little spot of oil canning happening to my boat I think. Is there a way to fix it?

try stuffing various thickness of gray foam under the seat, that is if you can do this with your seat.

buy the foam at your local outfitter or NOC.com

Boat - Canoe or Kayak?

Kayak, what Okieboater said.

Canoe, what type, and is it rigged for solo, tandem, or both? Solutions vary according to your set-up.

Minor oilcanning is something we just live with in some boats. If you're not racing, the change in performance is usually minor.

The way you store a boat can have some impact on oilcanning.

It's a Kayak and I store in vertically everytime and it's never in the sun. I go as far as putting a mattress vertically to rest the kayak on it. It's two small bumps that I have to look at very carefully to see, but I just don't want it getting worse. The Place these bumps are forming is under my seat so i'll try blocks
