I can't find much info about paddling the Eleven Point from the state line to Old Davidsonville SP. Are there any shuttle services? Can you camp on the river? Any info would be great!

I would suggest going to Greers crossing and paddle down from there and take out before crossing into Arkansas.

Richard or others-
Have you experienced the gavel bars referenced by Southwest Paddler that have potential to cave in? How severe is this threat? Does the upper section (Greers down) have the same threat? Are there any of the olds dams on the upper section?
Thanks,

I have not paddled the Arkansas portion of the Eleven Point. The only dam I am aware of between Greer access and Riverton is the remains of one called Mary Decker Shoals. It is more like paddling through a short rock garden.

The Greer access to Riverton section has very few gravel bars. It does have several designated camp sites with tables, fire pits and outhouses. Not in the best of shape but usable. The thing I like about this section is that it is one of the first eight rivers to be designated as Wild and Scenic in 1968 and it is totally within the Mark Twain NF. Also, there are concessionaires who rent boats and run shuttles.

As for the Arkansas portion, I found this which is pretty detailed and has a map.
