Tomcat: I've a message from Louie

Post by Tim Eubanks » Mon Aug 17, 2009 9:46 am

Gave a guy a ride to the top of the Ocoee. He saw we were from Arkansas and asked if I was Tomcat. No, I replied, but I know him.

I can pm the message, the moderators might not like it.

Nice enough guy, I thought. Your opinion may differ, obviously.

Ahhh, old Louie!! TC's bestest buddy. And Lazer knows him!

I happened to end up in the same shuttle vehicle as Louie on the Cheoah a couple years back. Most entertaining shuttle ride I've ever been on!

We agree. He is a T-R-I-P, trip. I asked if he wanted some water, he said he preferred destilled beverages. Bud Light was more to his liking. We did get a personal invitiation to Ain't Louiefest ,along with 300 of his closest friends.
TC, I'm guessing you were somehow involved in his ban from Boatertalk?

He was hauling one of those strange looking boats like Roger and Randy D paddle occasionally.

Worth the price of admission, for sure.

You've got to ask yourself....if I do not own BT and not an admin with powers to suspend a person on BT...then how could it be my fault Louie got booted? The answer = he's a loudmouth bully that got himself booted. Yea....Louie the victim.....just like the men who flew the planes into the World Trade Centers were victims too.

TC: I in no way meant to implicate you in Louie's banning. In the short time we talked, it was obvious that he was perfectly capable of getting himself banned without help. I just picked up that you were somehow involved in a conversation, but not a party to the banning.

no worries Tim. Actually, I was not involved in the final incident that got Louie booted.....but did have many arguments with him. After he finally got booted for his antics, he actually burned his bridges by cussing out the main administrator.

Louie and I could have been friends. He and I have many things in common...except politics. He does not accept differing viewpoints very well.
