Misol Ha and Agua Azules Mexico

Post by Monsoon » Sun Aug 09, 2009 10:29 pm

Here is a website to look at: http://www.geo-images.com/yuca/chia.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Does anyone know if THEY will let you kayak down this at High Flow?

I have been to both of these places at times of Low Flow, but it sure looked like you could really get it on here.

Thoughts?

15 years ago I remember seeing a National Geo TV special with these guys kayaking the falls on the Agua Azul in Chiapas. I think one guy actually ran all of them... they're pretty big. Travertine dams make for pretty waterfalls.

I think Doug Ammons has run the Agua Azul. Check out his book Laugh of the Water Nymph
