In the "Events Calendar" I saw the Introduction to Paddling Clinic is
normally held the third weekend in August and located at Lake Ouachita State Park. Does anyone have the dates and contact info? Thank you.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think this one is happening this year.
I recommend you keep your eyes peeled for trips by Captain Aleve, Jim Krueger, Lupe, and others. You don't get as much "concentrated" information as when a formal clinic goes off, but you'll get quality river time and plenty of tips and practice. You'll also have the "safety net" of paddling with a group of others who know what to do if something goes wrong.
