Or can give any history, dates, etc.? This is a sticker on my sister-in-law's boat. The boat is a vintage Mohawk livery model with the original livery markings. Finally got my nephew to send me a picture of it.

Maybe someone will recognize the name Cavender?

Is that on a t-shirt or a sign of some type. Might have to put it up for bid on e-bay. I would be interested in purchasing if it is a sign of some type. Have enough old t-shirts!!!

I'll bet Smethers or Thrasher could provide some insight. Somebody ring up the ole' timers on the party line. Not sure Thrasher monitors the board.

I thought that was some kind of paleolithic Arkoglyphics of some sort!

I thought that it would maybe predate the Plastics Age, back when they made boats out of stone! But it's a sticker on a very vintage plastic boat. I have it in cold storage now because once we unearthed it at the dig, it will deteriorate pretty quickly.

I have contacted some expert translators to see if they can make any sense out of it.

I think the relic dates from the mid-Bubba-lithic age. An age of early civilization and realization within the Ozarkian paddling nomadic tribes.

This was the dawn of the era when tribal customs were first evolving. Ritualistic customs such as Bubba Court had their beginnings during this period. The use of tools was first seen in this era such as the use of Duct Tape to secure the accused to the first aluminum lawn chairs as a means of restraint during Bubba Court proceedings.

This era even predates the discovery of, and worship of, the almighty Blow Log. It is widely theorized that the discovery of the Blow Log as a form of sacrifice and worship may have occured during the period of enlightenment when the threat of placing an accused Gunnel Grabber in a mere fire pit no longer worked as a deterrent.

Sightings of survivors of this age are rare but they do happen. Loss of habitat, and the banning of blow logs from many local venues, has limited the frequency of tribal gatherings where these ancient customs were practiced. Additionally, most of the surviving remnants of this culture have moved on to paddling rafts so there aren't many gunnel grabbing offenses to prosecute in Bubba Court any more.

I think that is an original Bubbalith stencil, they were a very advanced culture that invented silk-screening. They used various sizes of needles, and created the screen by hand drawing and perferating the image in the butt-skin of a buffalo. Ya might confirm this with Krueger, I think he was there.

circa 1990. I Recall having a handful of those logo stickers when I was Central Chapter Prez in about 1992. We replaced them about 1993ish.
