Cadron Access

Post by Dannyboy » Tue Jul 28, 2009 4:14 pm

OK, I've been out of circulation for awhile. I am hearing rumors about access or lack thereof at CCO. With the impending wet stuff forecast for this week, I am hoping to get the GF in a kayak and take her down her first run of the mighty Cadron. I'm NOT looking to step on any toes, so I thought I would ask for the lowdown from those that have actual concrete knowledge of the situation. Is CCO closed? Can we still access at the Pinnacle bridge? If so, whats the protocol there? Is there any way to get on above CCO without turning this into a lengthy expedition? What's the best route for me to take here? Feel free to PM me if you think your response is going to be construed as inflammatory in any way LOL :poke:

Thanks,

Danny

and here
http://www.cadroncreekoutfitters.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

give em a call

Story I heard was they opted for some large scale, whole campground, rentals instead of public. You can put in at the bridge below, downstream. There is another thread with a number to call for permission there. Maybe back in May or June?
You sure this is on the right channel?

Been OK buddy.. It's good to hear from you Clif. Its been a LONG two years of divorce, unemployment, grandparents with Alzhiemers, etc., etc.. Pretty much sucked my will to live there for awhile.

Thanks for the low down on the access to my fav little creek. Hopefully we'll get some more of the good wet stuff soon and I'll actually get to paddle it again LOL Look for this ol' boy to be getting back on the water soon! I can't wait to see my old friends and make some new ones. Funny how I left the paddling by the wayside just when I probably needed to be out on the water the most! :idea:
