Anybody want to make $40

We're going to be floating the Buffalo on Monday and Tuesday and are needing a shuttle from Gilbert to Maumee. I'm gonna drop my buddy off with the canoe at Gilbert, drive to Maumee, and get a ride back to Gilbert. The cheapest shuttle I can find via outfitter is $106.17 and that is just to drive me from Maumee back to Gilbert.

If you know anybody who is gonna be in that area on Monday afternoon who wants to make a quick $40 by driving me from Maumee to Gilbert let me know. Thanks

I wish I could have read this earlier. I just got off the Buffalo floating from Maumee to Dillard's Ferry. We were going to float Gilbert to Maumee and had checked the outfitter at Silver Hill. They charge $45.00 to shuttle your vehicle from the put in to the take out. I understand these places need to make a living but at that price they are price gouging.

Wild Bill will do that private shuttle for $33.00 and the next three take out spots down from Maumee are $27.00.

I used Wild Bill earlier this year and he shuttled my vehicle from Rush to Shipp's ferrry for 66 bucks which seemed fairly reasonable to me for the length involved. I do understand why you would feel like you were getting ripped off paying 40 to 50 bucks for a short shuttle though.
