Just a reminder to everyone that Ouachita Outdoors is having their annual Paddler's Party after Surf 'n Turf this coming Saturday starting around 6 o'clock. There will be finger food, a film festival, and plenty of ice cold

so come on and get down!
There will not be a band playing this year but any musicians out there are more than welcome to bring their own gitbox.
Please post any questions you may have about the event here and I'll get back to you as quick as I can.

Yeah I'll probably go to Rockport Sunday for another dose since I didn't get to kayak anywhere today.

I'm bringing a PA to Rockport for Rodeo tunes. Would be happy to set it up at OOO and let folks use it to play at the party or can use it for film soundtracks, or both. Can handle two mics and two DI's for gitters.
If my new paddling protege and his lovely girlfriend come with me this weekend I have requested he bring his box and be ready to play. Hope his boating skills advance to the level of his picking skills, quickly!

It's pretty light weight so no worries on the transport. Will have to brush up on my J Buffett for Don.

Thanks for putting on another great party, guys. Great to see everyone. Had a blast on the slack-line. I'm going to get one of those.
Thanks to Dave et al for the entertainment. Wish I hadn't enjoyed so many suds and had been play a couple myself. Oh well, no big loss.
Good times again this year. Already looking forward to the next.

had a blast. i really enjoyed jeremy's video and the music was entertaining. Thanks again don for letting it all go down and giving us safe place to crash (pass out)
The slack line was awesome, some good competitive action. Amos and jeremy, we should build a tiered, side by side, different height, double or triple slack line for next year like jeremy mentioned. Of course it would have to be complete with a landing pad.
