Minimum Flow at Remmel

Post by tsmethe » Thu Jul 09, 2009 6:00 pm

Last weekend Scott asked if we could drop the flow so that some minor maintenance could be done on the ledge at Rockport. Good news. We will be dropping the flow down to around 220 to 250 CFS at night starting tonight. If all works as it should we should continue in this mode the rest of the summer. I will officially revise the schedule next week. But I told the operators to start up at 11 AM instead of Noon and then run a bit longer into the evening. By reducing our minimum flow at night we can run at the higher flow longer during the day.

So Scott, you got your wish. Now go do what you know to do to the ledge.

After I posted this message, the Ops. Supt. decided to postpone until Monday. So no low flows this weekend. But I think this is going to happen next week.
