I brought my kids to the Smokies this week. We camped the first couple days on Deep Creek. This little beauty was right behind our campsite! It wasn't much, but I had fun surfing on it while my girls caught tadpoles. I'd love to have a piece of property with a wave that runs year round! lol We camped the other two days on the Little River. I had an even better wave there, but the eddies were too shallow. I was beating the heck out of my new carbon paddle and decided it wasn't worth it! :)

I agree! My 3 daughters love Deep Creek. On our trips to the Nanty area, we have to devote at least one day to tubing the creek. When we camp along the creek, they are in it almost all day, everyday. It has become a family favorite and tradition.
