Sunday, July 5th paddling trip in Central Arkansas

Thinking about paddling on Sunday in Central Arkansas, if it's not raining, hard!
Maybe paddle around noon or something, either Remmel Dam to Rockport or Caddo, water level dependent.
Anyone want to join in?

At this point, Marlo and I are planning to float Remmel to the Ledge again this Sunday, as you say "if it's not raining hard" We'll probably meet at the Ledge about 12:30 to shuttle on up to the dam. Hope to see you all there!
At present, the Upper Caddo unfortunately is a 'dead cowboy'...too low, and unpleasantly warm for swimming.

My son Lance has been badgering me to bring him on this float. We may to try to make it. However my knee is as big as a cantaloupe right now. I may have to improvise & sit on the saddle in a canoe.

That's OK Wes, well not really for ever for having to endure the knee pain , but it's a fairly easy float, so if you feel somewhat like coming, please do so. I think we can take care of the shuttle. :)

I think I'm going to have to pass on this trip. I'm going to Las Vegas next weekend to get re-married (to the same wife) after 25 years & my knee needs to be in working condition. Anyone in the area is welcome to join us.... Elvis is performing the services. How 'bout that hound dog.

What another very nice floating day on the Remmel Dam to The Ledge float trip today! Thanks to all of you who floated, and to those who helped us make the trip even easier!! Cowper, please thank the young man who shuttled my truck back to the boat ramp, I certainly appreciate it very much! Thank you Karl Burr for coming down also to help, even though you were not floating, I appreciate your shuttling of boats upstream, and to just hang out and visit! (not to mention the Muscadine Wine&Blueberrys )
This was about the coolest weather day we will have in the near future but the rain held off and allowed a nice time on the river for all. It was nice to meet your friend Debo, and even have Joe Tarver along in an uncharacteristically long boat, I hope you all finished the trip OK after us ,and that Joe collected all needed samples. Thanks again!
