Rockport..steps to take
How do we transform rockport in to a world class play-spot.I just got to thinking about all it has to offer.I would like to get the ball rolling on this.It has potential to be one of the best in the nation. Is it politics in the way or what.It has every opportunity to be great.Garroted water, great park, lodging, and centrally located.I think we should all pull together and get this done.Maybe this is a sore subject but o well.Anybody that knows about how to get this started would be greatly appreciated.thanks jeff

The short answer... Money.
If you are interested in helping, come to the Ouachita Park Commission meetings on the Third Tuesday of each month in Malvern. The ACC has been working with the community for several years as the park has developed to cater to boaters and the general public. Much more potential there for many different user groups.
Holler if you are interested. Ideas, support, assistance and funding are always welcome.
