Thanks for the link it was an interesting article! One of the sublte points in the article I thought was interesting if not controversial (though probably not intentional--some may not agree the article was saying this) was the assertion that planing hull boats make creeking easier.

I subscribe to the theory that it is more the boater and not the boat that makes hard runs look easy

but

I feel more comfy in a displacement type creek boat than in a planing hull type creeker.

But that may be because I am an "old school" boater!!!!
