We ran from Remmel down to the Ledge yesterday afternoon while I was working on my research project. It was a great float, and when the fog set in, you couldn't even see the ledge until you were almost going over it.
I was in my seayak at the time..and after catching the eddy on river left at the ledge, I attained back up through the foam to surf it for a few minutes. I wouldn've been alot bolder had I not had my notebook and other gear with me. But I may bring it down and mess around with it some today..it was a load of fun to surf that big beasty.
If I am able to make it today I will.
Either way i'll be there at some point this weekend.
