Chainsaw Jungle on the Mulberry River

Post by Turner Bend » Tue Jun 16, 2009 11:20 am

The infamous Chainsaw Jungle logjam has once again been cleared. High water will wash out the cut up pieces of trees. All thanks go to the skilled men with the U.S. Forest Service. There were a couple of near drownings here this spring despite the warning signs and the avoidance of both outfitters. Maybe someday the Mulberry will settle on a channel and will quit toppling trees into harms way every time the water comes up.

Thanks, guys.
