We had a great day and a good turn out for the race. We had as many of
out of state racers as in state.
I just want to thank the sponsors and volunteers for the help

You notice I said out of state people, I was shocked that we had more people from out of town than central Arkansas people in the race.
This is a easy race that doesn`t take long I am just surprised that central Ar people don`t come???
The out of state people love the paddle and thought we had a great place to paddle and loved the River trail.
Oh well to each there on, it was still a fun race

I have to correct you the point of out of state folks, there were by my counting 57 total paddlers and only 22 were from out of state. There were a lot more kayakers from out of state so unless that some how counts more than the canoers that participated.

I guess my point was central Arkansas paddlers don`t support it very well

Well, the event might have been a little better attended if their hadn't been so many other events planned for the same weekend. River clean up, up north and the hometown throwdown at Dirks. Their had to be Fifty plus people at dirks this last weekend. I know of a few that were at the cleanup.
