WAKARUSA GOERS

Post by roxyriver » Mon Jun 01, 2009 12:58 pm

Just curious as to who all on here will be attending? I'll be there rain or shine, however thankfully it looks like we're going to have a GOR-GEOUS WAKARUSA!

Rebecca and I will be there. Sounds like it's going to be a great party......or a survival contest. We're in primative camping somewhere. Hope to see everyone. Boz.

The Mill Creek Freaks will be represented. Cindy and I are heading up on Wednesday evening and plan to be there until.......

It should be a sight to see with that many folks on Spirit Mtn. Hope Zen will buzz over and take some areauhl, aireal, uh, pictures from his aircraft for us.

BTW was that Zen Sunday over T-Bend in the red and white ultralite? Made the fish quit biting!

Our friend Hunter Smith will be playing with Copesetic, I think on Saturday night, up against the Black Crowes. I'll be jamming with Hunter and crew to support my home boys!

Will report from the Freak Front on Monday.

Waka Waka Waka!!!

Dirtfoot will also be playing for the ChompDown breakfast on one of the mornings in the RV camping area. It was pretty cool at Mulberry Mtn last year when they did this. Cept for the poor young lady that spilled the bacon grease on her arm! Ouch!

Hey, Ryan......caught your trumpet solo. It's good to know you can do something besides paddle. Waka was great and Dirtfoot kicked a**. They were definitely one of the best bands there. I haven't paddled with you yet, but am starting to see why they call you "dangerboy".

It was quite a weekend. The weather was awesome and the music was inspired!!!!!

Rail Road Earth was my favorite.

Copesetic, our local Ft Smith boys, put on a tremendous show. They had a huge crowd up dancing with a great set of music.

Noted Copesetic has two nights in July booked at the Rib Room on the 14th and 15th. No Cover, so no excuses. If you live in the Fort you need to get out and see this band!

Hahahaha, thanks Bozman. It was a good time for sure and yeah, Dirtfoot is really on their way. We will definitely have to get on the river sometime. There were some nutts at the festival, and I"m not talking about the pistachio nutts they were giving away, hahaha.
